Valericain Press offers a ‘done with you’ service designed to support your author journey. We’re not a vanity press, nor a traditional publisher. This is a collaborative approach, characterised by transparency.

We offer everything from a couple of hours consultancy to assisting you with a book’s full publication cycle. We help shortcut your learning curve, so you don’t have to upskill unnecessarily, apply for new online services, and you can avoid many common mistakes and sources of rework. You retain control, including the rights. You can leave at any time.

Our rates are designed to be affordable and, crucially, not a 'one size fits all' package. There’s no cut of royalties taken, no wild promises of sales or marketing success. We won’t send out spam emails or unsolicited DMs. We do not advocate buying book reviews or social media followers. We will not sell your data to third parties.

You can have as little or much input from us as you wish. You become indie published, rather than self-published. We offer access to range of tools and information, designers and printers, and a network of complementary suppliers.

You can have access to UK national bookshop distribution with sales data reporting, a listing on our webshop, and we'll promote your work on our social media feeds.

Ultimately, ours is a service run by an author for authors.
